A great deal of thought has been put into auditing vending machines. Where in the past audits have very much been based on hygiene, the app takes a greater in depth look at the service vending clients receive.
The audit is split into 4 specific areas and each are scored separately so managers will get an instant indication of where problem may lie. Images and notes can be added to the report and the audit is automatically date stamped.
The audit areas are:
Covers the front of the machine and what the client actually sees. The overriding question is, would the machine inspire confidence in the customer to use it? Questions cover areas such as signage including allergen information, hygiene of the front and dispense areas and breakdown information.
Covers all the areas you would expect in a drinks machine including the canisters, bowls and tubes, delivery nozzles, brewers etc., and likewise for snack and can machines.
We think this is perhaps the most important area and one the auditor will spend a fair amount of time on. It asks some basic but hugely important questions such as does the machine work? Does it accept coins? Does it give Change? Does it even have change available? It also goes into the area of drink quality such as, is the drink hot/cold enough? Is the cup under/over full? Does the drink taste too strong or too weak?
There is no point having a clean and functioning vending machine if there isn’t ample stock available or the stock is out-of-date!
